TrueBlueFlyer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2012 Malaysian GP volunteers

Is anyone on here volunteering for the next Petronas Grand Prix at Sepang?

This was my very first F1 event live, I went as a spectator this year because I lived in Singapore and was able to fly up for race day... next year I'd love to go as a volunteer. I've bugged them enough through official channels that they finally responded with an e-mail saying "someone will contact me closer to the actual race" but I'm impatient.

Already booked my flight from New Zealand and just in case bought the 33RM ~ $10USD grass-pass... but again would much rather be on the track itself.
So if someone else is going, please let me know who to contact so I can join as well.

Cheers!

I think, like with any other GP, you would apply directly online: http://www.sepangcircuit.com/marshal/

However after not hearing much from them I did a little research and fired off a bunch of e-mails inquiring about how to get myself accepted. The most direct response I've gotten so far is: Sepang circuit will hold a training seminar in either January or February, which will end with a written test. After completing this test you will qualify for participation at Sepang as a volunteer.

I asked if there was an option for overseas officials to start out as trainees like in Australia... but no response yet. We'll see
