Now the 2012 season has started

Ok so I've already 'Stewarded' @ Kimbolton and been on 3 'Training Events' but for me the new season started at 9am this morning when Mallory opened for it's first Test Day. With only 11 cars in, it was an open pit lane with the star of the show by a mile being Simon Hadfield out in an ex Peter Gethin Chevron F5000 setting the fastest time of the morning with a 41.82. Other cars out were: a Reynard F.Ford 2000, an Alexis-Cosworth F3, a Jaguar XJ6, a 750MC RGB, a pair of Formula Ford 1600's, a Formula Vee, a Formula 750 and a Dolomite Sprint. The final driver was a first time visitor to the circuit, one time World Lane Speed Record Holder Richard Noble who was out in a Lotus F.Junior, after being given a couple of instruction laps by Simon.

Pfffft.

I've already clocked up 7 events (6 signle day, 1 4 day) and 1 two dayer as a spectator so far this year.

But that is in your summer, we haven't even got to spring yet!

Is that the record for fastest time stuck behind a tractor on a single track road?

Either that or maybe he has given the game away about what is underneath the body of his 1000mph record bid, Bloodhound. Those Lotus guys are really going for all the motorsports categories this year!!
