More power to him. I wouldn't want to go to a country that has sent Aircraft cariers missle cruisers and missle submarines and thousands of marines from Norfolk Virginia this morning heading east.

Title: Will TGF stop?
Subtitle: "Bild.de" gives 10 reasons why he should continue. The articles starts by asking what Michael thinks. After that, the article starts speculating, and quoting Italian sports-newspapers. At the end of the article, "Bild" tells us that "Il Messaggero" speculates that Michael considers retiring. (Somewhere halfway it says that Tuttosport thinks the same. ========== In other words: Michael doesn't say he will retire. Il Messaggero doesn't say Michael will retire. Tuttosport doesn't say Michael will retire. Bild doesn't say Michael will retire. I don't say Michael will retire. Untill now, BBKing is the only one who says that Michael will retire at the end of the season. |

Even though the article tries to tell us Michael does not want to go to Indianapolis, it quotes Michael saying that he does not consider skipping that race. |

Just looking at the pictures I thought it could have been a story about Schumacher retiring. A German translator (not a good one) produced an output with the words "retire at the end of this season"..."Marriare with Bernie E. broken..." "Wife feels alone"..."Mika love his kids"..so on so forth....LOL

DARN! I was hoping there was some substance to it. TGF is becoming a liability to Ferrari.

While I know the article is based off nothing...
I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to race anymore. If he is uncomfortable racing, he should stop. NOW!! Formula One is such a dangerous sport, and there is no room for someone who is not 100% confident in their car. Michael has a lot to live for right now, and if he is losing his nerve in the car, I don't blame him. But, he shouldn't go on scared...that could prove disasterous.. If he is scared, he should quit now while he still can... |

Hmmmmm...... can I see TGF going the same way as Mika (ie not really giving two balls about racing)????
If I'm honest, I don't know. TGF always seems like one of those people who is so driven and motivated that I can't see it happening. However, by all accounts he "did a Hakkinnen" on Sunday (I didn't see the race), so may be it isn't beyond him to loose motivation. But to the extent of Hakkinnen??? Surely not..... |

Yeah sure Tristan, he did a Hakkinen on Sunday.. but he's won everything there is to win this year. He'll be back and as motivated as ever next year. He's still got Fangio's record to go after...

IMO Ralf looks even less motivated than MS.
If he is lacking motivation I have some bad news for him - things are only gonna get worse, now that JPM is gonna start kickin' ass!! Go Juan!! |

C'mon guys, relax....
This weekend was one in a million. I doubt any reasonable person in this world, and adding saturday's happenings, any motorsport fan, wasn't feeling bad. So give a break to TGF and almost everyone in the rest of field... |

it would be great if Michael did retire! I expect he will carry on though as long as Ferrari are competitive...
