Wanted? Navigator...
OK. I'm bringing a 23 year old Hymer camper to the party. I have a Dutch guy booked in as taxi support once I'm parked up. Many races under our belts, Me n Marcel.
5 berth bus. So i have spaces. I've vaguely offered one to a potential stray Australian. (If he mentions the Ashes ONCE...) It has a built in canopy. Usual Hymer stuff like a loo, and shower. But it looks like I could be travelling down SOLO? It's LHD, so no toll booth hassle, but I could use a nav/backseater. Hell, I could bring all the Speed Chills girls in this thing... Anybody need a lift? Oh, yes. I'm going to be in Tertre Rouge campsite... Thanks Neil! |

Is 'Marcel' the Dutch taxi driver or the camper van?

These spare spaces, would they also be available for the trip back to Blighty as well?

Sorry, not a lot happened, then I went AWOL for a couple of days...
I bloody HOPE it's coming back. It's got Spa WEC in May, then very possibly LMClassic and Spa 24 to do this year. Busy little beast. Currently thinking of arriving Wednesday, leaving Monday. |

Plan SLOWLY coming together. Brittany Ferries offer a nice price Poole to Cherbourg.
Going out Early Tuesday or Wednesday (10th or 11th) Coming back Monday the 16th early evening. Works out at around £170 a head for ferry, based on 2. It's almost as cheap as going solo... Campsite is my treat, I got a DEAL! No takers? Marcel is an ACO member, so Enceinte will be bought on arrival... |

It may be worth looking out for the Martini Panda on that crossing though, I think we're seriously considering it as Pompey-San Malo may be out of the student price range. |

I'm watching RM auctions from Paris.
The Lola T70 was a steal at 100K. Must be hooky, and everyone knows it? Right. Allon has a response now. I can fit in with folks plans, so long as I arrive earlyish Wednesday, so I can grab somewhere near to power! The more on board, the lower the cost for the ferry. I'm NOT charging diesel or tolls, as I'm going anyway, but offers to buy a beer or 3 will NOT be refused... |

Peugeot 908 HDiFAP on the block in a minute or two. Rod Stewarts Muira on the block right now, at 410K Euro...

Well, it won't seat 2, and I cannot sleep in it. No good for Le Mans spectating.

There is also the serious fuel consumption, diesel might be cheaper in France but not that cheap

No wonder why many of your cars are so ineffecient . Petrol in Denmark is slightly higher than the rest of Europe and buying a new car that goes less than 18km/L is considered a poor choice!
