Nordic should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Channel 4

Just out of intrest I e.mailed C4 today to ask if any coverage of this years LM race is planned.
The editor (Richard Bremmer) replied that nothing is set yet but he is hopeful that something will be shown in the build up to the race & we can expect some 2 hours worth of coverage over night. Not Ideal I know, but as most of us will be there, at least the Missus can record it and laugh at us getting very wet again!

The more people that e.mail him the better go to www.channel4.co.uk and follow the links to 4Car and find the contact address. he will reply and may feel compelled to show the whole race!

I got a similar response about a month ago.

C4 will be covering the Acropolis Rally which is on the same weekend as Le Mans, it remains to be seen whether they will want to cover another motorsport event. Let's hope at least one terrestrial channel picks it up though.

Sorry to say this, but i don't think any TV channel will ever show the whole race. Ch4 did a good job last year, but if they show the start and the 1st hour with perhaps regular updates during ad breaks,ie "this Le Mans update bought to you by X washing up liquid sees car? in the lead..."etc. 2 hours over nigh of coverage so far and the last hour and a highlights show.

That'd do for starters.

Would that we got Speedvision in Europe! I think they did it all in the US last year. I'm sure someone will correct or confirm.
