bi-directional telemetry fixed DC's car

Apparently McLaren has said that they fixed DC's car remotely when smoke started coming from his car at monaco.

Bit easy really... when will they discover how to re-fuel without him stopping then... ???

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
I read about this also. This is most interesting - that they can "talk" to the car from the pits. Now The Toad won't have to tell Rubens to move over in future - they can tell the car to slow down.

I see a problem here. Someone mentioned this earlier in another post. Maybe the teams wont/cant mess with each others cars but this means that DC's smoke screen could be stragegy. Not saying that it was, but another team could do something like this. Imagine their tires going away and they are being pressured with only a handful of laps to go...

Ralf's mechanic might have went to the JPM's pit and press something??

This is outta hand. Funny though! I like the RS's mechanic comment. The sad thing is that some of this could happen. People may get fired, but who knows. Maybe it will be like the cold war. Each team will have suitcases handcuffed to themselves; enter the secret code, flip the switch and Bang!! Another retirement for JPM.

Maybe they could fix something to Schueys car that automatically makes rubens move over when he comes within, say, 2 seconds. Is there anything in the rules about the cars communicating between themselve? Maybe give information on the number of back markers past or how much Ruben is slowing everone up by etc...etc...

Remote oil slick anyone?

A scene from Harry Potter comes to mind: Harry is in his first Quidditch match, and the broomstick goes out of control, with Quirril putting a hex on the broom, and Snape muttering an incantation to counteract it.

David Coulthard stars as Harry, with Michael Schumacher as Draco Malfoy, Jean Todt as Quirril, Ron Dennis as Snape, and Bernie Ecclestone in a masterful dual role as Professor Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort.

Yes, they can do this - by adjusting the fuel pressure. I don't like this remote control one bit. It makes for too many possibilities of race fixing and sabotage.

At least it got DC to the win, which is what it is all about.
