First Practice

Nice to see Webber, Bunsen and Panis up there among the usual suspects at the top of the times - Renault still not out????

Don't knoe! I'm not getting any more commentary from F1-Live. Renaults still not coming out yet? Are they saving their tyres or what?

Webber and Fernando are in uncharted waters: they have never before been within half a second of SchM's time anywhere, not even in their wildest dreams.

Webber is having a great day so far, best of the Ford/Cosworths by a mile.....so far........ and Alonso, WOW! 3rd!

But McLaren are starting to dissapoint a little, but Coulthard has just moved up to 7th and Kimi 9th. So not all bad.

If you told me Mark would finish ahead of SchM in a session, any session anywhere this year, I would never believe it possible.
It does look as if that Renault have sorted their cars out - they only did 15 laps in 1st prac between the two cars. Maybe friday testing works.

Well it seems that one lap qualifying may be a good thing for Honda! Wow!!! Well they need to buck up and get back to work. I am sure they are doing just that no time for remorse.

Now on to what counts...

You need to go to F1-Live, go to Live session, and check the times on the presentation page, and you can click to convert to your local time.

No way are BAR going to get it right for Friday qualifying but I guess it's tomorrow that counts. Really though what a set of jokers at BAR and Honda they can't even last 15 laps between both drivers in first practice, they have no hope of lasting the race.

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Now that the wrong attitude. It's not that bad. Even if they don't finish the race its just the first race. We should not expect too much from a motor that is barely two weeks old and a transmission (gearbox) that still has issues. I am not losing faith, I can't. They have to come good.
