What team is Paul Weel in ???

Im a bit curious as to what team Paul Weel is in ???

I know he isnt in a Ford this year and has moved over to Holden but is it still his own team ???

but just having a look at some pics from the Grand Prix he has Betta Electrical sponsorship all over his car , does this mean he is somehow involved with briggs motorsport???

or is this a completely seperate sponsorship deal between the two teams ???

anyone know?

Kees does still own the franchise though, and leased Imries franchise.

According to a person in the know on Conrod, the Betta deal is a freebie offered by Brockie, almost certainly aimed at trying to lure them over for fulltime payed sponsorship.

With a race win now under their belts, it must have worked.

TWR poaching sponsorships, look at Pepsi on Kmart.

Weel is a talent but he has never had a team mate, nor a recognised chassis engineer at his disposal. The association with Team Brock will see Bright mentor Weel, and the team will get stronger because of it. Weel is fast, just doesnt know how or why...

I too am looking forward to see some progress in Weels career this year. I'm pretty sure Bright is the right team mate to have and having Brockie in his corner shouldn't hurt his career.

Can anyone tell me who is the engineer/cheif mechanic etc at Team Brock this year and does Ron Harrop have a role in the team this year?
