kuchi should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
JPM's fan club post race reunion.

Hi there, JPM fans, good race we had yesterday huh?. Eventhough Monty did not win, he was at the top of his game all race long. The williams seems to be strnger that we all thought, and for the first time in a lot of races, the strategy worked out well for my fellow colombian.

So what's your opinion on JPM's first race of the season?, go on, let me see what you have to say.

Well Kuchi, I'm not 100% satisfied, but at least we got 8 points and beat Schumie bros. !
Better luck next time Juan Pablo...

That's all I have to say by the moment...

would you put the spin down to driver error, poor tyres or a problem with traction control. i think the tyres were a problem because traction control should have sorted out the spin.

Like JPM said "s--t" happens. Lets just make sure it does not happen all the time. He had the reliability, tires and fuel to finish it up in first. Good star. We want more of the same.

Great drive undermined by one error. A damn shame but there we are. I just hope the Williams stays competitive.

All in all, an excellent drive spoiled by one small mistake. He'll be a threat all season.

The best part was the that he said "cheat happens"

It was great race. The safety cars prevented him from a easy win.

Inigo is as good as many users around here, he's got my vote whenever the chance appears.

He's a Ferrari fan, that doesn't worry about how good others drivers are, unlike others here.

Thing is..., anytime I heard/read word "cheat", I don't know why but name "Michael" springs to mind...

Hey Bon, Verst. got finish line in one piece...
This year you'll have to use the Schumacher/Kimi/Montoya approach instead.

Anyway... Juan drove a good race, apart from that spin. And as a Juan fan, I can say this: He has to avoid mistakes like that if he is to challenge for the WDC. The race we saw yesterday is the kind of race Juan has to win. When TGF has problems, and Juan is leading after the final round of pitstops, he needs to make the most of the situation. Nevertheless, 8 points in the bag is 8 points in the bag. It's good, but it could have been better.

That mistake cost him the win, but it didn't cost him second place which is the next best thing he could salvage. The season is long and he is ahead of TGF from the outset in the points and is able to beat DC in a straight fight anyway. Nothing too bad about the weekend really for JPM- would've been much worse later in the season to have that spin.

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
He drove a really controlled race. The first few laps on dry tyres were something else - the ferraris were pulling away like jet planes but JPM stayed Then the gap started to drop significantly, and JPM was in control. Screwed by two safety car preiods, he still drove a race. I suspect the TRAX malfunctioned because it was slow in cutting the power and sent JPM into a spin. He just blamed himself, saying he took the throttle too early. I thought it was a great effort. Expect more from JPM this year. This guy is really
