oily oaf should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kick ass racing

Just finished watching The Winston at Lowes Speedway (i think) and wot a superb, kick ass race it was. The 3 segment format really works for me as it gives the fans 3 races rolled into 1. The action wos non stop with plenty of wrecks and lead changes. When u see quality racing like this its easy to see why the fans stateside are shifting their allegiance from open wheel to tin tops. Great work fellas.
PS How much do u guys in the USA pay for your raceday tickets for Nascar events? I bet u dont get ripped off like us Brits at premier motorsports events

I've paid anywhere from $30 a few years ago to $200 depending on how good the seats are. For some races (the second Bristol race, for instance) the tickets are sold out and scalpers sell them for many hundreds of dollars...

I agree with The Winston being a very exciting race for major $$$$$$$$,but I was sad to see Terry Labonte & Toni Stewart fail to make the final segment because of Their wrecked cars,so We only had a 12 car field for the final segment, should have been a 14 car field,JMO!

I agree Oily it was a great race. This format has changed a few times over the years but no matter how it's run it's always a good show. Thats why all the teams build cars just for the Winston it's either checkers or wreckers. I'm not sure how much the tickets were for the Winston, but i just got back from Charlotte where i had seats in the Ford grandstand ( the really tall one just at turn 1) for the Coca Cola 600 it was 126.00 US and the BGN race on saturday was 66.00 us and the World of Outlaws on Saturday night at the dirt track Were 30.00. Pretty reasonable.
