i'm sure arse kicking is very much within danny's agenda this year, so long as money, testing time, and chassis development all play ball.
what's worse though, a year's dodgy racing in a car that's not at the same level as the others or a year out of racing due to financial restrictions? |

F3 isn't an end in itself, just a stepping stone to hopefully bigger and better things. You don't have to win the championship to get noticed-just demonstrate your're quick. If Danny can ring a result out of the Lola he'll get more attention than any other driver - he's already getting more press than he did last year and building a strong relationship with a truly International race car manufacturer with direct links to the States, new A1 series and sportscars.

Oh and BTW Danny has the talent and will make the best of the chance he's been given to perform and there is no doubt in my mind that he won't perform well!!

Well, Ian, is it not that you aren't totally misunderstanding what Soulja said there?

Considering Danny only once in a Dallara I wouldn't rate his chances in a Lola. Top bloke though!

well, not many guys win lots of races in their first year of brit f3!
if nelinho wasn't around last year (he is exceptionally talented) you'd probably have a higher opinion of dan's driving. i for one think dan has a good chance of winning one later in the year...if they can get the backing. |

sorry to be a pedant, but that isn't what it says!
"there is no doubt in my mind ..." = I am certain "... that he won't perform well" = what it says. Therefore what you actually said is "I am certain he'll be cr@p" Sorry to point it out! |

Mr.Jinxx, you are right to point out a wrong double negative when it's not right and clearly wrong - right?

The Lola drive certainly seems to be getting Danny plenty of press coverage.I see he's now the regular F3 columnist for www.autosport.com
