OK, as I mentioned here in these forums previously, I am slowly putting together guides to each of the major British circuits. I am currently awaiting permission to re-use some circuit maps from another website. If and when I receive this, I hope to be able to put the guides together reasonably quickly.
Anyway, what I really need to know is what you actually would find useful to see in them! Obviously there would be the obligatory contact details, phone numbers, email addresses, travel directions, local hotel details, etc. But what else would you really like to see included ? Please post any ideas here. Cheers |

How about the stuff the other guides don't mention ? The price of burgers, where NOT to view, where TO view, how easy to park the car, etc.
What circuits are you going to cover? |

No, just the British ones - this site is primarily for British fans after all. However, I may add the occasional foreign circuit, but only ones where large numbers of Brits are likely to be heading - Le Mans for example.

OK, at long last(!), I have put some circuit guides on line. Visit www.Ten-Tenths.com/circuits and post any feedback here. They are only really in beta at the moment and I would love to know your views on how best to improve them.

Glad you like them!
I hope to put some more work into them tommorrow. In the meantime, I have been asked to point out by the webmaster of 'British Motor Racing Circuits' ( www.bmrc.co.uk ) that we are not affiliated to that site in any way. We aren't, but I would recommend that you check out his site - it's a goldmine of information, and he's a good bloke for letting us use his circuit plans |

Have you considered mentioning which circuits you can drive into and which ones you have to lug cameras, sandwiches etc 3/4 mile to get near the track ?

Craig, You might like to look at the circuit guides at
http://www.cee.hw.ac.uk/~ceesjf/ms/scotsprt.htm It is a Scottish motorsports site but the links page gives circuit guide for every UK and Irish circuit I could think of including the Isle of Man TT. It may save you a lot of work if you can "borrow" some of their info. |
