Still - must have a nice garage, eh?

Well, yeah - EJ was looking at selling - or so I'd heard.

Sheesh. Imagine MS as a team owner - he could put his kids in the cars and all - be a real dynasty. Shudder.

EJ must be getting desperate, I'm sure I read somewhere that he wasn't going to sell his old cars...

I thought you meant the country.

So it was the first car he drove. I presume that the first test car was different to the first race car?

He's quite sentimental really isn't he!

it was an exceptionally beautiful car. The shape, the livery, everything made it a real stunner. Just for that reason I would try to have it in a collection, if I had the money.

I think even if EJ did not want to sell his old cars he would make an exception with TGF. After all he is the one who drove the car on that race. :-)

I think that following all his success, it's only appropriate and nice to own the first car that got you into the elite group of Formula One in the beginning.

And indeed, the Jordan looks terrific! Which makes owning it an even greater pleasure.

What is interesting is that it appears to be the test car not the Spa race car (which didn't last long anyway!). Is there a difference? I'm sure someone knows the chassis history round here.

I thought the car MS tested was his race car... wasnt there a fable around the driver being told not to blow the engine as it was his race unit?

You know it is not the only 191 jordan own. There is another 3 or four of them so one less is not donna make a difference.

Plus the fact that there running out of room in the museum might have something to do with it

The low nose was actually quite nice to look at, if you disregarded the "collar" around the cockpit.

The high nose one was a rape of a beautiful shape.

Why would Michael want to do that when it's quite conceivable that he will, one day, run Ferrari, that way he gets his own team and doesn't have to part with any cash!
