F.Renault V6 go home !!!!

The war between Italy and France continue ... Yesterday Renault told that F.Renault V6 (alias new F3000 V6 Pro Series ... in 2006 season) don't start for incapacity of Gruppo Peroni, and Peroni told to accused Renault Sport Technologies for this reason. This is italian cinema .... Peroni is very little man ... and in Renault are clevers ....

It was a totally ludicrous idea to run such a series anyway - and it is thankful it's been strangled at birth

There maybe a Formula Renault V6 Asian series in 2006. Probably dependent on number of entries the organizers can find.

Lets hope someone can find a home for these perfectly good race cars that have spent a year idle.

Indeed, these cars should not be left to just stand around and collect dust. They are quick modern single seaters and on a parr technolgy wise with those of GP2 and A1 GP, down on power compared to A1 and GP2 obviously but the cars were designed to be a level in between F3 and F3000. The cars have 370bhp.

Problem was that there never was a need for cars between F3 and F3000.

The cars have 370bhp but lapped about 1 sec faster than an F3 car around Monaco IIRC.
