SBK Winners Game (one-off) --> Valencia

Well, drugs have the drawback of abstinence syndrome. So to help these bitter weeks without Rossi demolishing the promising "geniuses" from all over the world, we need a dose of something.

Enter SBK. The good old SBK is going to help us in this desert.

Rules are as in regular FWG, except we have Superbike race 1, Superbike race 2 and SuperSport to guess the winner instead of 125, 250 and MotoGP.

Points are NOT going to be added to Summer Cup, and probably they are neither to be added to following eventual other SBK races. It is just for nonsensical fun

I copy&paste the rules just in case someone doesn't know them.

----------------------------------------------

Object of the game:
You have to guess the winner. You can put one, two, three or four riders as winners.

Scoring:
If you put one rider and he wins, you get 4 points.
If you put two two riders and one of them wins, you get 3 points.
In case you put 3 names and one wins, you get 2.5 points.
If you choose to put four names, and one of them wins, you get 2 points.
If you fail to guess the winner, you get 0 points.

Time limit:
Guesses can be done until one hour before the first race (125, 250 or MotoGP, whatever it is). Usually it will be one hour before 125 race.

Remarks:
Every FIM GP three guesses can be entered: for 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP. Those are three differents games, so you can enter only one or two categories if you like.

Appart from the three classifications (125, 250 and MotoGP), I'll put a "global" classification adding all of them.

The key of the game is to predict the winner putting the least possible numbers of candidates. But if you put too few riders, you risk getting 0 points!

Example:

Let's suppose in Jerez you put the following guesses and the real winners are Simoncelli, Angelis and Rossi:
125 = Simoncelli, P.Nieto, Lai (you get 2.5 points for Simoncelli)
250 = Porto, Dovizioso (you get 0 point, you failed)
MotoGP = Gibernau, Rossi (you get 3 points for Rossi)

Here I go ("Oh Lord, have mercy")

SBK1: Corser, Bayliss
SS: Charpentier, Curtain
SBK2: Corser,Bayliss, Toseland

Just now I think I can get 3rd in total points (there are only 3 guesses by now ).

Dani: Free hint, put Nieto. I have heard he is going to win helped by local organizers (of course I cannot put him myself out of honesty )

Huge participation.

Obviously bestfit won with a perfect score(!!) BIG congratulations! :beer0:
Code:

        SBK1 SS SBK2
bestfit 4 4 4 = 12
Dani 3 3 4 = 10(*)
Schummy 3 3 2.5 = 8.5
Hazza 3 2.5 2.5 = 8
Dani was second but... I think he guessed out of the time limit of one hour before the first race. Anyway this is not a regular round so, who care about it? . Good second position with 10 points.

Hazza and me were so cautious that we shared the last positions in this small field of players. But it happened because all three races were won by favourites, and it is not so frequent to see as it seems!

Maybe we can do it again in another time with a gap in FIM GPs. I promise I'll study a bit more about current SBK/SS riders!

Anyway if we have had even a small entertainment with this round, it will have been a good thing to make
