Cost of a season in GT3?
OK so I watched last 5th gear show and they showed Tiff Needell driving in GT3 Aston. They mentioned that the car costs around £200,000. Is it real? And how much do I have to pay to drive a seaon in GT3? £100,000??
Just yesterday I watched Australian GT championship where also Allan Simonsen races(I think he does GT3 too) and there was some mentining that their F430(GT3 I think) costed around 1,5 MILLION AU$ which makes roughly £65k. They must have messed up something because this I find utterly unbelievable. |

65k i think it's the road going F430 .. at the minimum
500.000 .. it must be the 430 GT2 .. plus running the car i guess |

Sorry my bad. Too many digits.. That makes then £650,000. But then Radical's prototype costed a lot less as I remember...

ON 5th Gear they said the cost of the year for the ASton was also £200k.

In Grand-Am $200,000 will get you a seat for the full season in GT (BMW or Porsche GT3) with a so-so team. You can do one offs for $15,000.
