Presumably he was trying yet again to explain why Button is yet to win a race?

I have to say, for some reason he was particularly annoying today. Perhaps it was the below par camera work and the poor sound quality but his mindless, continual, drivel really p**sed me off.

I legit don't care what anyone says, but bring Murray back. The chemistry with him and Martin cannot be matched. Martin holds the broadcast together.

murray wont come back, too old too much traveling he says, but

get rid of the afore mentioned c*ck and get another driver in. not so keen on Mark Blundell, nice guy and all , but just hasnt the flow of Martin Brundlle.

perhaps a non English guy say Berger then at least we can snigger at his accent when the race gets dull???

Oh yeah I mean I know it wouldn't happen the whole Murray thing. I totally empathise, he's an old guy and it wouldn't be fair on him.

They just need to find someone with a bit of, well, charisma?

He just bores me to death.

How about getting Alan Jones in - although they might need a minutes delay in transmission to allow the censor to work!!!!

The ones of Rai are the best, and they are not as biased now that Ferrari are not winning by default!

They give a lot of info and they make it interesting to follow. Even a blind person would enjoy the race with them.

Based on past occurences it was Mark Blundell, although that was when ITV had Tony Jardine to do the analysis.

They really should try and get someone else.

I don't have fond memories of him commentating.

Martin Haven is excellent and definately gets my vote!

For those who don't know who Martin is, Martin commentates with David Leslie on Eurosport (such as WTCC) and also this year Motors TV (recently F3 and British GT).

Me neither, I don't think that the Hungarian Grand Prix is generally not the greatest race helps. As a possible temporary Brundle replacement, then perhaps Allan McNish. I've liked the stuff that he's done for ITV F1 on occasion and I believe that the Hungarian race doesn't clash with any ALMS races.

I personally believe ITV should drop the commentary for the Hungarian GP and let's see if we can figure it out for ourselves.Usually the outcome is decided at the first pit stop,so it shouldn't be too difficult, unless of course we've fallen asleep before then.

Plus points- Ross Brawn eating bananas, but those days are over.
Minus points- everything else and JA will be flying solo!

No wonder MB doesn't want to be there.

Also,chances of rain=nil.

HA! THe best ever was the interview he did with Montoya 2 mins before the Indy 500 - straddling the nose of the car.

I would have told him to fnck off 2 mins before the biggest race in the world, but JPM answered his inane questions.

What about Simon Taylor he did the F3000 commentary and was particularly boring. He knew what he was talking about, although that might of been the script, but has little enthusiasm.
