Judging by your name (CRG) I guess you're a karter you'll find FF1600 much more like a kart to drive and you should get a season in a FF1600 depending on your amount of testing and crashing of course, with a good team for the sort of money your quoting. Although you can run pre 2002 (all FF cars) in monoposto SEMSEC and Formula 4, I believe. In Ireland I think you can only race FF1600, one of the Irish lads will confirm? Cliff Dempsey runs and hires out some very quick cars. Hope that helps |

you could do the Zetec part of the National Championship for £30k with a team if you just test before the race. If you want a pre season testing plan then add £5 - £10k to your £30k budget. Also the above costs dont include accident damage.
Not really a national kent championship so depending where you live you could do a good regional championship for £15k - £20k with a fair bit of testing with either Kevin Mills in the south or Medina/Mike Waite/Northstar in the north |

just noticed you were looking for Ireland. As RayFF say Cliff or Morgan are the people to talk to about drives in Irish FF unless Althgoe rents you his Ray while he is changing nappies this year. No zetec in Ireland so iy looks like kents for you unless you fancy Vee or Sheene....
