V8Supercar make it into "AutoWeek" in US
A pretty comprehensive article, surprisingly from the US. Autoweek is the number one selling weekly general automotive magazine in the US.

What a great article. Tells you almost everything about the series. It might be a warmup for the off-season coverage of V8s that the U.S. get.

I also thought the article was surprisingly good. They gave a really good overview of our series, with only one or two minor errors, the main one being that they said Bathurst runs into darkness.

I think it was basically giving an overview of what the cars are, because probably almost all of the autoweek readership has never heard of v8 supercars before.

I thought it wasn't bad either, probably a bit long for a basic introduction with too much detail in some areas (tech-oriented readers would lap it up though) and the "accent" stuff at the start really doesn't work with the written word.
Pretty good exposure for V8SC though Last edited by marcus; 23 Nov 2006 at 21:59. |

Also Robert how is what I wrote a bagging? Those words quoted are highly similar to what Cohrane would normally spill out at the drop of his own hat |
