Will Rusport replace Wilson for Mexico ?

Im pretty sure Justin Wilson will not drive in mexico so will Rusport put someone else in the car for the season finale ?

I guess if you look at it Adam Carroll and Ronnie Bremer just tested so they would be a logical choice (Probably Bremer more over adam due to his champcar experience)

But anyway thats speculation , does anyone know anything ?

Sorry if I'm out of touch with goings on, but why would they do that? Is Wilson leaving at the end of this year? Or is his arm not going to be ready to use?

Wrist is supposedly 8-10 weeks recovery.

I would run Rice but most likely Bremer.

Lets be honest, lets hope they run someone.

It would be silly on RuSPORT's part if they don't run a second car at Mexico City. Also I doubt Ryan would want to run on his own.

How come Michel Jourdain Jr isn't considered for his home race?

I reckon that there could be a few more cars on the grid at Mexico - with the last race for Lolas the teams may through what they have left out on track...

Lola's aplenty, not many of the teams have the personnel or budget to run them.

Outside of Forsythe, Newman-Haas & maybe PKV Racing throwing in 3rd cars as already rumoured, I doubt many others will throw in any others.

Anyway - we're heading off topic a bit.

These "rumors" of 3rd cars being on the grid for Mexico City better start coming to "definitely" or "no way" soon. The race is in 14 days...

That's good. So we don't have to worry about if there will be two cars or not at Mexico City.

A scaphoid fracture isn't as serious as a true 'wrist' fracture, so he might be okay.

ohhhhhhhhh grrrrrrrr now I dont know what to think.

I want justin to race because he is always in with a shot of winning and is great to watch but at the same time I'd love for his wrist to hurt just that little bit too much so Adam Carroll can race.

wait and see I guess

As much as I REALLY want to see Wilson back in time for Mexico he does have less to gain than Carroll. He is going to finish 3rd in the standings no matter what he or anyone else does now, so if he didnt make it I woudnt be too dissapointed. Still, on the other hand he could win the race which would boost his profile.

Carroll on the other hand has a much bigger opportunity to impress and perhaps go some way to securing a race drive for 2007...
