kent_racer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kent Valve clearance

Hi,
Usually I'm using 0,20 mm for the inlet and 0,50 mm for the exhaust.
Some other use 0,25 and 0,55 during some other use 0,20 and 0,55
What is your mind about that ?
Perhaps 0,20 and 0,55 (because you open the inlet before and close the exhaust after) is the best ?
Perhaps one of these tune increase torque and one other increase power ?
Thanks for your help.

Good question, I haven't really thought too much about the difference in Tappet clearance however, the period (Duration)the valve opens and closes remains the same regardless of the gap set. The duration is regulated by the camshaft profile. I have tested with different gap sizes but the results were inconclusive when driving the car. Currently I have mine set as 10 & 28 (Thou/inch) and always when the engine is hot.

Also stick in "kent x flow tappet improvements anybody" at the search at the top.
Also Alan you will see that it will alter the duration by a fair bit .
