Victor Meldrew Trophy, Brands
I don't believe it, still no news.
Who's doing it, or not? Not that I mind. |

I would have thought Mr Willcocks would have been on here by now giving us a detailed entry list, and heat split!! He`s normally very good like that!! If he doesn`t get a move on the MSVR website may steal his thunder....
How many of the miserable old so and so`s will be cheating, sorry, "testing" on Friday? There`s usually a handful of the most unscrupulous ones out to play. |

The Victor Meldrew Trophy
I'm going to Brands Hatch as a Marshal and Journalist-writer-blogger on the 14th of Nov for Lotus Elise Enduro, but don't know a thing about the Victor Meldrew Trophy.
Is there anyone who knows how this popular competition works? Rules and Regulations? How the cars relate to the theme of One Foot in The Grave?, who takes part?, what is kind of racing is it? the cars? would appreciate any information Thanks. http://www.pbmwc.co.uk/TTRS/victormeldrewchallenge/ I believe the cars have to be run to TTRS regs... http://www.pbmwc.co.uk/downloads/200...nsIssueONE.pdf Victor meldrew trophy entry list on pages 4+5 of this: http://www.msvracing.co.uk/media/866...try%20list.pdf As you can see, mainly BMW's, with a couple of Golfs and Ford Fiesta's/Escort's chucked in for good measure |

Excellent Mr. Willcocks, should be the usual fun and games then. Surprised no one has complained that you keep changing the rules each year, or is my memory fading (hint, I could be eligible soon).

Most gracious of you, young Rodney. Thank you.
I'm unaware of any rule changes, unless I've introduced them by error? Whatever, there are so many other complaints, that any of that nature would pale into insignificance. Feel free to enter whenever you wish. This year, our eldest competitor is 75 and the youngest 20. It is an eclectic field and most gratifying. Next year I'll open the entries on here concurrently with P8R, as I fear I've had to disappoint too many folks. |
