Rolex 24 @ Daytona
In the US, "Speed TV" will carry the race starting this SAT at 15h00 (Eastern, GMT - 5) until 21h00. At that point the race will allegedly be carried on the SPEED website [ http://auto-racing.speedtv.com/grand-am/] until the TV picks up again at 09h00 SUN.

Eli is a good announcer, but I am real glad RLM is covering it, because I really, REALLY can't stand to hear the voice of the Crimson TAHD right now.

No coverage on One here in Australia so it seems

That'll be something to regret if Ambrose wins this.

I'll be following this online then, hopefully I can watch the whole race of not the start and finish plus a bit of night action.

It is on Foxtel if you have it (I dont) so I will be missing this year. Watched the whole telecast last year. C'mon ONE

Cant justify the cost of Foxtel just to watch one off races like Daytona or Le Mans especially if you can find it online for free. ONE kinda made up for not televising it last year by having that online stream which I found handy.

Motors TV will be providing live coverage of 8 or so hours in the UK.

There are live streams available for the entirety, but i am not sure over the geo-blocking yet.

Can someone explain why the cautions took so damn long?

Reason: Car stalled on track
Solution: tow car to pits
Length of yellow: 20-30mins


I feel like this is a 10min process, max. Yellow, tow the car out of the way, green.

Someone explain this to me.

pederb has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
For some reason I can't get into it, I recorded the whole race that Speed broadcasted but I found it very boring. Not sure if it is the track or the lack of real speed or the cars, but I basically forwarded it all

When watching Le Mans I almost forget to eat, I'm so into it

So? are the teams entitled to all this stuff? If it's something small, why not just clear the issue and let them roll? Why do we need to pamper them with allowing them to take time to pit and all this stuff?

Seems like half of the actual time spent under caution could be avoided if they just went back to racing as soon as the issue was cleared.

Cautions usually are for four laps. 1 lap for GT, other lap for DP stops and the other two to wave by laped cars up front leader and reorganize...
