LMS Round 1 - Barcelona 4/5/6 April 2008
Well with just under 2 weeks to the opening round of the LMS is about time we got a thread going.
The entry list can be at http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s51_...rticipants.php I would like to point out that I am very lucky boy as I will be attending the race in person !!! |

- Jeroen Bleekemolen is listed as driver on the LMS website, he will not race at Barcelona.
- Peter Dumbreck and Tom Coronel are shown in the Spyker, the #85 car will however have Peter Dumbreck, Ralf Kelleners and Alexei Vasiliev. - Hope to see two Epsilon-Euskadi cars at Barcelona, as the entrylist shows, but I am not 100% sure they will both be there. See you there though Last edited by Marcel ten Caat; 24 Mar 2008 at 22:53. |

will the cytosport/charouz car be there? Mariantic had reported it off the entry list and all mentions of the car have disappeared from the LMS website. Anyone have any info from Jota or Cytosport about the prospects of the car being at barcelona?

I believe they will be at Barcelona though as the grid will be short of one Euskadi. Mariantic |

Quick question - info shows about a 30 minute walk from train station to circuit - has anyone done that and if so, is that an accurate walk time?
thanks very much Carol |

I've been there only once, but I went by train from Barcelona, and then by walk to the circuit (yes, about 25-30 min) but this was more than 10 years ago, maybe now we could find a bus service to the circuit (or near) |

As Mirage says, the info is correct. 30 minutes walking from rail station (my current job is located in Montmeló town). The shame is that bus between station and circuit is only available in Formula 1 and Moto GP events. As a sportscars race in Spain it won't be a lot of spectators but that makes it better for me. Can someone tell me something about the AIM engines that is using Creation? Is it a completely new company in motorsport? About Epsilon Euskadi, I read that they could build the future World Series single seaters. Regards, |

According to the German Eurosport site, there'll be six and a half hours of live streaming of the race on Sunday. Should be enough to cover the whole event.
The International Eurosport site didn't include the LMS on their Livestream page for some reason. |

About Epsilon Euskadi, I think is a bit early to predict something like that, and Dallara is doing a pretty good job in that class |

I've been going through my Sky+ set-up for the weekend and it looks like Motors TV's LMS coverage is interupted for2 hours with coverage of motorcross, or something similar, in two one hour segments.
Europort show the first half hour or so, plus highlight at the end of the day. Is RLM stil covering the LMS? |

Does this actually mean we'll be able to view the race online?

Why wouldn't ES International put that on the webpage, I actually checked and it's not there on the "live streaming" page. At least not yet? |
