Something to cheer us up
In the aftermath of Peugeot's announcement that they were quitting LM and the FIA WEC, we all need something to cheer us up.

How about a petition to restore one of the great traditions of the race over the past 30-40 years........The Hawaiian Tropic Girls.

It was 2008 when they last appeared...............

Can I just point out that not everyone who attends Le Mans, follows endurance racing and is disappointed by the Peugeot news is a bloke? Girls in bikinis wouldn't cheer me up particularly

Could not agree more but this was not a serious post, just an attempt to lighten the atmosphere after some particularly bad news for this part of the sport...........oh well one less thing to cover.

I do have, somewhere, a picture of one of Silverstone's finest, fully orange clad, in a 'cheesecake' pose, as the grid girls weren't booked for the Saturday of a meeting! Yet the Bruichladdich Girls' shots are ALWAYS popular...
