Craig, I looked at the members list. But where the H r they !
Loads have registered but never posted ! Some have posted once or twice in the dim and distant past. Don`t you think that it would be more realistic to post an average number of registered members , linked to the posting over the previous month ! Some people might think that they have to fight for recognition amongst 700 +, when in fact you could get most of the recently active members in my study ! |

I did the same thing registered made a post then I think I came back a few months later and started posting regularly. THey are still registered thoug. Regested members (700) active members in the last month (120). 700 sounds more impressive and better for the site.

Perhaps they don't like the nasty smell which descends over these forums sometimes ? If certain people who come here solely to upset or antagonise other posters could be kept away, perhaps more of the registered users would stick around ?

The web seems to swing wildly between libertarianism and anarchy - depending on the age of the posting person, maybe? Nature of the beast.

Also , I feel as others that some have more than one name . I know I have 27 at last count Some of these extra names may be used for a short time then be forgotten never to surface again . Maybe Craig if a name has not been used in a 3 to 6 month period that name has to re register. It would clean up I feel allot of names .

I have 2 but it's not my fault, it was the Board's fault that day it wouldn't let me in under my own name. I think Hotmail deletes you if you haven't posted during a certain length of time.

I don't think I'm normal and people keep telling me I'm not and I don't want to be.....
Invader - I may have two names but I only use the 'other' one when I don't want people to know my real name and never use split personalities in the same forum. Hence, I use the 'other' one in your forum!!! |

My forum is invitation only and oddly enough has a link at the bottom of this very page, although of course any uninvited guests will be immediately ejected

Ive never been to this to this forum either, I guess I was too busy mouthing off in the racing forums
I have 2 accounts, as the first time I registered as F1fanatic. But I realized that it implied that all I liked was F1, which was the reason I got a mouthful from some anti-F1 posters in some of the other forums. So I switched it to the short form of my real name. I would guess that at least 50% of the registered users just found the site, made a post and never came back. Although I only ever seem to see about 100 or so, many of which seem to be staff. Maybe 10 tenths should have some notice regarding one time users in the rule area of the forum.
