New Rules for IPS

From SpeedTV:
Quote:
Polesitters will now be awarded an extra championship point for their chart-topping efforts.

In the three road-course events scheduled for this year, the driver who leads practice will decide whether the qualification order proceeds from fastest to slowest driver or vice-versa. Road-course qualifying will mimic F1’s single-lap format of last year.

Pit road speed limit drops from 60 to 45mph, and only three crew members will be permitted over the wall during a pit stop - the only time anyone will be allowed over the pit wall. In addition, teams will no longer be permitted to add or remove fuel from their cars in the garage area.
