GP Racer, I'd suspect many of your IRL fans are really just race fans who worship the 500.
I know that, as a CART fan, I respected the mix of ovals and road courses, but the only oval that really moved me was the 500. Perhaps IRL fans have always liked road courses but the 500 was too important for them to give up? (I can't say road courses and street courses as if they're different things - that's a joke just to make the racing sound more diverse as far as I'm concerned). |
