Teams, is it worth the money?

This is for anyone who belongs with or has driven for a team.

In my 3 years we have always run independently basically out of the boot of a Passatt (well and Trailer) i'll be quite honest, me and my dad do very little to the kart, never tampered with anything much more than jetting, gearing and wheel width.

I'm considering running with our local team, RL-Racing who run people like Chris Lock and Chris Trott succesfuly in Super One Rotax but need honest un-biased opinions. Is it worth £70 a day? Has your driving improved with the experience around you, do you feel the kart handling better when people who know what they're doing are working on it?
