Asian F3 driver to test A1GP car

I read that due to his results in Asian F3 over the past two seasons, John O'Hara has been invited to test with A1 Team Ireland.

Good to see Asian F3 is doing it's job in helping drivers progress to bigger things. Even if drivers don't have huge money behind them, it still gives them the opportunity to display their skills.

the news report said this:

The Rathcoffey star caught the eye of A1 Team Ireland owner Mark Kershaw by winning more races than any other driver in the past two seasons of Asian F3. "We've been following John's progress for some time," says Kershaw. "He came with us to the Indonesian round of last season's championship and got on well with the team then. We're delighted that this is happening now as John is clearly a very capable driver and has really got the bit between his teeth in recent seasons. We've always intended that A1 Team Ireland would be the ideal vehicle to get Irish drivers up to a top level of motorsport. John's objective will be to learn how to drive the car and work with the team for the first time. We hope that this will be the beginning of an extended relationship between John and the team."
