This news may belong elsewhere on 10-10ths, but since those likely to be most interested frequent this area I'll post it here..........
Just received a promotional email from Autosport International with a special ticket offer if you book by Friday 8th December. What really grabbed my attention was this announcement:
Quote:
£40 MILLION OF LE MANS DISPLAY
More than £40 million worth of Le Mans legendary cars will be on display at the show. This breathtaking feature will be evocative of Le Mans with the iconic machines being reunited with their celebrated drivers in what will be the most significant Le Mans display ever assembled.
The latest addition include the Ferrari 512 BB LM, of which only 25 were produced from 1979 to 1982; the Matra MS670, driven to victory in 1972 by Graham Hill and Henri Pescarolo and the Nissan R90 CK which Mark Blundell drove in 1990. The list of legendary drivers also attending in also growing and so far includes Derek Bell, Mark Blundell, David Brabham, Allan McNish, Paddy Hopkirk, Guy Smith, Ray Mallock, and Jackie Oliver.
