Just back from a business trip to Solesmes, not a million miles from Le Mans, and did the obligatory drive around as much of the track as possible this morning.
Great to be able to do it without crowds around and be able to focus on what the track is all about - and having a nice specced up Alfa Romeo Giuletta courtesy of Avis didn't hurt either. I've often held that deserted race track can be a morose place, but I might have to revise that opinion. Can't wait to be back in June. |
