I think there should only be penalties for not appearing in the post-LM period. Missing pre-LM races is normal. Anyway I think if the FIA loosened off the crash test passing requirements for two weeks prior the start of the season it would help a lot. But when have they ever relaxed anything...
As for Kolles vs Rebellion and the 'lost advantage', I don't think speed really matters at LM, but rather reliability again. And the swiss have two bullets in the gun. Well at least the engine will be the same for both parties. In any case I'm sure both are more looking forward to decent-ish overall placement due to factory retirements rather than the pointless sub trophy. |
