From ITV-F1:
Michael Schumacher’s manager Willi Weber has refused to deny rumours that the world champion could buy into the Sauber team.

At the Malaysian Grand Prix, the paddock was swept with reports that Schuey was considering taking his first tentative steps in team management by buying into Sauber. Shares in the team are available after sponsors Red Bull announced their decision to quit the outfit.

Although he denied that a deal was in the immediate offing, Weber said that he and Schumacher could invest in the team.

He told Autosport magazine: "I could see myself taking over shares in the team. If Michael was talking to Sauber I would know.

"I could see him as a consultant. You should never say never."

Peter Sauber gave Schumacher his first big break when he ran the Mercedes sports car team. Schumacher was one of a trio of young drivers recruited by the team, alongside Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Karl Wendlinger.

The team also buys engines from Schumacher's Ferrari team.

Two questions. Can a driver continue to race when he becomes a team co-owner? If Michael really buy into Sauber, can he also own shares at Ferrari?
