It seems to be a bit of a three-way split, with Gravity, Pescarolo Sport and Henri himself all at odds, with the latter the big loser. What a shame.

"From the horse's mouth"... an interview with Henri on Endurance-Info (only in French so far): http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...ance-4226.html
And from the tone of the interview, we will definitely see both LMP1 Pescarolos pulled out of the entry list... |

Yeah. Henri sounds extremely bitter, sore and angry in that interview, and probably with every right.

A man who doesn't want to worry about budget and focus on the sporting side of the operation paired with a team that is sick of partners not coming through with the financial backing to support their technical know-how. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

I really feel for Henri, it appears he's been treated very badly.

I think Genii have effectively bought the F1 team and have a right to use the name for a certain period - which gives kudos to Genii and a quieter way out without losing face to Renault (and Bernie?)

"Renault Motorsport" or "Renault Sport" should be free for Renault to use freely?. Ei give to Henri?. But unfortunately a Renault move to Sportscars are only speculation, as they have stated nothing which could give the idea of them doing it. (Did anyone see the Peugeot move to sportscars before it was announced?) |

Anyone who was at Silverstone for the LMS race last year will tell you that the Pescarolo was on a completely different planet in terms of performance to anything else on show ( Aston Martin, Lolas, Orecas, Zyteks... ) going from last to first with consumate ease. Its a massive shame if it doesn't race again.

A complete and utter disgrace that one of Sports car racing's most heralded legends has been treated like absolute crap, shameful. All we can do now is hope we see Henri's team on the grid in some form or other, at least we still have OAK. Perhaps OAK and Henri could run a single LMP1 at LM? possibly piggy backing the Mazda France deal to give Mazda a presence in LMP1, with a car which everyone knows is very quick could be a solution. We can all hope, and I for one am hoping that things get sorted out and we will at least see Pescarolo Sport racing in the future, whether it be just Le Mans or just LMS or both. |

The Pescarolo situation is, for me, the most disappointing story of this year's Le Mans. Le Mans just isn't the same without Henri being involved - in some form or another. A great shame.
