Just catching up with the headlines on DSC, and noticed something I hadn't registered before- an interesting line in their Zhuhai entry report:
There was a possibility that a new, factory backed GTE car might have appeared at Zhuhai - DSC understands that it won't (quite) make it - But watch this space. Is there something out there that might have slipped under the radar, or is this connected to one of the various already-known rumours....? |

I imagine it is the same GTE programmes that Graham hinted at a couple of weeks ago but as yet I don't think it has been identified?

At first I thought of the Lexus LFA. There have been pictures of it released previously, but could be something else too. Hyundai Genesis?

Hopefully it is an LFA. I can't think of anything else that has been rumored, at least this soon.

Yes, that was one I was wondering about, if they were implying that it could have been ready for a debut at Zhuhai, but hasn't quite made it... it's surely too early for any other rumoured GTE projects (Viper?) to be that close to fruition?

Why is Adrian Fernandez not in the entry list?
It'll also be interesting to see if the GT3 cars manage to outpace the GT2s like they have in the past. |

There will be a new class below GTE next year in the LMS. GTC will be similar to that in the ALMS. It appears there are currently only three eligible cars

It's suggested in the Zhuhai thread that he has a prior commitment to drive the pace car at the Phoenix NASCAR race- seems odd to miss a race to do that, but apparently the company sponsoring the NASCAR race is owned by Adrian's main sponsor Lowe's, which probably explains it

6 wins against 1 (even if is le mans) is a really outstanding display of power! and peugeot won the manufacter champ with almost the double of audi's points! then think about that in team champs if oreca joint all 7 races surely audi team joest didn't get 85 points!
