From my experience I couldn't get even a whiff of diesel from the R18s but you can definitely smell the gas powered entries.

Maybe the lack of smell is still a smell?

To me seems like just a way to separate the cars inside the regulations, and not a class that is actually going to show up in the classifications. http://www.fiawec.com/en/news/the-en...ated_1419.html Quote:

WEC needs a 12h race? Yes, I think it would be cool. "A sham" without? Not sure.

12h race for the sake of being called 12h race, no. Less is more anyway.
ps. OT: I can't stand that vertically split layout of the comment system Jalopnik uses. Last edited by deggis; 14 Oct 2013 at 21:47. |

I'd prefer to have a twelve-hour race as a WEC finale. It would add some spice to the second half of the season, and if there were 1.5x points on the table, we might even see some titles not being decided beforehand.

the FIA at it again! Calendar changed again! Le Mans stays the same date, but Spa-Francorchamps has been moved forward one week, and is now on the Sunday instead of Saturday. Fuji also changed. http://www.endurance-info.com/en/201...endar-updated/

Now have to see if time off work can be changed, and more critically see if accommodation is flexible, otherwise a very significant deposit gets lost. Highly highly unimpressed. Last edited by Stephen Green; 18 Oct 2013 at 13:47. |

It isn't like there is a huge number of events here to plan. These weekends shouldn't conflict like they do. Poor planning. |

Overly incompetent WEC director, obsessed with F1 while no sportscar fan gives a damn about that...
Should have put COTA and Petit back-to-back and have Japanese - or Chinese - WEC round 2 weeks after that. |

Actually, WEC Spa and TUSC Laguna Seca clash now as well.
