New Zealand veteran Jim Richards has won the opening round of the Australian GT production series at Phillip Island..
in his brand new Porsche GT3 Richards dominated the weekend ..after winning the 2 sprint races on saturday Jim backed it all up to take out the 1 hour event on sunday..the 1 hour event was the highlight of the weekend and Jim came home the victor by 11 seconds over the Ferrari 360 of Queenslander Wayne Park .in third was Mark Williamson in another Porsche. pic from gtprod.com.au |

Only a scratch as I don't think that was a point scoring race. The championship starts with the Adelaide races.
Jim Richards is probably going to win the championship, but you don't hear me complaining |
