Disappointed that the A-Class looks unchanged, hopefully it's had a good reworking underneath. |

There will be three Motorbase Foci on the grid for the first race meeting. Definitely definitely.
Probably won't be all at media day - efforts are being concentrated on car number 1. The others will be quicker to do once they've figured out what is what on the first build. Suspect Motorbase boys will be burning lots of midnight oil! Which is no great problem: remember when the Subarus arrived at their first meeting two of the cars had not turned a wheel - apart from in getting loaded to the trailer to take them t'circuit. |

How exactly? Most of the important mechanical and structural bits are standard parts as per the regulations. |

By that score, we’d get rid of AmD/MB, Simpson, Laser Tools, HARD and arguably Parker/Boardley given there is a new 1 Series out.

"Car was definitely dipped, de bracketed and paint red after receiving the doner car" so that would seem to be fantasy B@ll@cks then on the basis of Motorbase twitter today. Whats the phrase "you couldn't make it up" ?! |

The car would still be dipped and debracketed even if it wasn’t painted the shell off a production line would still have sealant on it and the anti rust coating which would need to be removed before they could work on the cars at custom cages

Yes, unfortunately it is a bit messy. I liked this red Mac Tools livery more.

Painted Red - we've seen that in picture evidence from Motorbase. De-bracketed - an essential part of turning a road-spec shell into a shell ready to fit NGTC subframes, ROPS and fuel tank etc. Dipped - fairly reasonable to assume that a car being prepared for NGTC build might have a dip at some point prior to fabrication. Whether the information was provided was a result of direct knowledge, or simply putting together a bit of common sense alongside evidence is unclear. What it is not though is 'B@ll@cks' |

They were shells. Not pulled apart road cars.

If it’s too much, you just refer to them by the actual team name, rather than the banner. And you can even just use initials, like WSR, TGR, TPR etc.
