I for one can't wait to see the livery. With those 918 promo shots in Martini colors, one wonders if we will again see a factory Martini Porsche? Porsche has always been one to get the livery right.

I do believe that liquor sponsorship is banned in many of the places they would be raced.

Quite a good spy shot of the new car here:
http://www.gtspirit.com/2012/11/16/s...e-991-gt3-rsr/ Looks like a 911, funnily enough! |

So traditional Manthey if no other sponsor is there with a different color pallet. I'm just thinking back to previous factory efforts and how clean the cars always look. Here's to hoping. |

last time Manthey ran under the official Porsche banner it was this wasn't it?
http://www.racingsportscars.com/phot...-07-30-111.jpg Looks like corporate Porsche to me, would be surprised to see this effort in anything other than the factory's colours, unless a sponsor shows up. Such a pity many of the classic Porsche ones are banned (Warsteiner, Rothmans, Martini etc), but we always live in the past in sportscar liveries - hopefully we'll get a new classic from them. |

Liveries are certainly each to their own. I think that one looks great.
Let's see what they come up with. |

Romain Dumas has put on Facebook, that he is racing with Manthey next year with Marc Lieb and Richard Lietz.
"Pour compléter l'annonce d'hier, je vais rouler au sein du Porsche AG Team Manthey en FIA WEC avec Marc Lieb et Richard Lietz ;-) To complement the announcement of yesterday, I'll ride in the Porsche AG Team Manthey in FIA WEC with Marc Lieb and Richard Lietz;-)" *The above quote was translated using Bing |
