I stumbled upon this on reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/wec/comment...percar_livery/ I think we need more SCG 007s! Each in a different livery. |

Yeah, I suggested that a few pages ago with my own very crude photoshop.

Certainly is a looker.
Went to a cars and coffee this morning. Wore my Glickenhaus T-Shirt. I like to think it made me the coolest person there. |

Glick and me.....
Sadly Napolis wasn't there when I visited today, but I did have a brief chat with Romain again. |

Speaking of Dumas. I highly recommend the latest Motor Sport Magazine podcast with Romain as the guest. He's one of the few current racers whose many fascinating stories can rival those of racing legends of the past.
Among other things they talked about Romain's passion for Pikes Peak. Strangely enough, the presenter didn't ask if going up the mountain with Glickenhaus is considered at some point in the future. |

Sorry about that Andrew but you have another chance tomorrow of meeting him and if you are really unlucky you might meet me.

I'm jealous of y'all getting to see the Glick in person! My experience has been seeing cars on tv or pictures gives a false sense of form. You have to see a car in person to get the proportions and size right in your mind.

Jim, with the double header announced for Bahrain instead of Fuji, would that influence your decision to compete there?

We got to the flint wall grandstand in the afternoon, Kev managed to go over the bridge(we waited over half an hour for disabled crossing earlier so did the bridge, looked for you but no sign, after kev recovered we walked back down to see some of the drift antics then walked to the start line grandstand (free for disabled) for the shoot out. Staff at goodwood were really good and helpful, we had several tours around on the carts.

Amazing to see this car in the flesh - particularly with Le Mans attendance being up in the air for UK fans. Appreciate you taking the time out to bring it over Jim.

Nice the UK fans got a treat like that. Hopefully it won't be the last they see of it in the flesh. Let's just hope it has a decent Le Mans at the very least.

Totally agree - the LMP1 cars are always smaller in the flesh than I thought they'd be (and a lot more impressive 'live' than on tv). The DTM cars were also a totally different beast trackside than on tv - much more of a 'wow' factor.

There were some really nice videos on the team's social media yesterday, a handful of videos from the shop and track.
In one of them it looks like there is an additional 007 chassis at the shop. I'm just not sure if it was an old video and it was the second chassis, or if it was actually a third. |
