Exactly. It's not just about overall wins. Class wins are also important. It's good to have that variety at LM

All good. As always the annual LM entry allocation is a puzzle I very much enjoy.

Well, according to recent reporting, there's talk of expanding the WEC schedule. Indy is a possibility, along with possible venues in South America. Sounds interesting...
What races do you guys think should be added? |

Less F1 type venues, more tracks like Donington, Brands Hatch, Sachsenring, Mugello, Road America, Dijon etc.

Tracks with crowds and big pits , it’s not really expanding it’s just getting back to a normal level of races.
Silverstone would be good as also has pits/facilities for support races - 6 hours min |

And they coped. I was lucky enough to spend time with one the WEC teams there this year - it was fine. They ain’t precious about it. Sharing the bogs and everything
More of it. Some with, some without, races of difference lengths, tracks of different styles. It’s the endurance world championship not the world homogenous championship. |

Races from 500 miles minimum to 12 hours max plus Le Mans. 8-10 races across at least 5 continents.... A genuine World Endurance Championship. |

Money talks. Not my first through to ... twelfth choice, but I do like Losail* under the lights, hopefully the race will go through sunset. A low bar it may be, but I reckon it will be better than Sakhir.
More disappointingly, the US round is almost certain to be Indianapolis now. I'm looking forward to that less than any round in the Middle East. *Lusail? That's the city's name but I'm sure the circuit was meant to be spelt differently. |

The timing could not have been worse with the Quatar caught corrupting EU members Hehehehe This is just a really bad joke. Honnestly, making a big fuss two years ago with a survey asking what the fans were looking for and we are ending up with the Qatar buying a round of the WEC and killing the Super Sebring. And we will finish in the state with a round at Indy. Seeing the comments from Pierre Fillon, Richard Mille & Frédéric Lequien, those guys just seems to have no pride. When I am reading all the bs they are saying instead of recognazing that they are going there because they paid for. |

To try and claw back some positivity - Super Sebring might not be dead. But it's not a lock either - https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...season-opener/

I'd say it felt more dead, and these comments are the non announcement before the death certificate is finalized after Sebring 2023 takes place.

The chess pieces continue to move. I still think going to Qatar is a grim price to pay. I suppose at least it's not Saudi. Yet...
