glad to see the Intersport back out there.
i think it is going to be chaos with 36 cars on track. Attrition should take care of a handful cars, but still going to be good and crazy. |

Top 8 in GT within a second of each other, and BlackSwan seem to have that car setup nicely with Bleekemolen behind the wheel. |

This is somewhat straddling the line between ALMS and IndyCar, but... MWM on Twitter:

EDIT: Actually she was in fact slower than Hunter-Reay in the LMPC car... and slower than the first 11 in the ALMS practice session! And Magnussen in the GT2 Vette was just 2 seconds slower... |

Yes, this race is on SPEED, which means there IS the live streaming of qualifying.

The race will be on SPEED just delayed until 8 pm eastern, the next race will be on CBS from Laguna Seca. LIve streaming qualifying begins in 5 minutes, finally qualifying late enough in the day I can actually be here for it.

Think they'll have to add weight to whatever car Henzler's in, he seems to be flying early. Although I don't think anybody can touch what Melo can do in the 430, still .6 over the field.

.6 over second place and then .4 seconds covers 2-8th, think that 430 is a fast animal to be retired at the end of the season. Any word on what livery Black Swan may run in the future?

MAN that was fun to watch! I couldn't believe how on the edge they were! There couldn't have been more than 3 inches between Pagenaud and the wall!

AMR on the pole but barely, thought I heard .06 over Pagenaud.
Fernadez got out and checked to make sure he hadn't left any of the bodywork on the walls. He got close a couple of times. |

Wong. Came thru the corner wide and very slow like he had a problem in the car and just didn't make the turn. Only tapped the tires slower that bumping a car in the parking lot. Had a bit of a time getting it going so I'm thinking it was something with the transmission. No damage from tapping the tires though.

Looks like this might be an interesting race...
The AM is faster on a lap but uses more fuel to do it on accont of being heavier. But the HPD may struggle to pass traffic, but will get faster as the race (or race weekend) progresses due to more rubber being put down in the corners - it strength. Will be good race I think! By the way... from 2009: P2 - Adrian Fernandez 1:13.134 96.874 mph Acura ARX-01b this year: P2 - (Brabham)/Pagenaud* 1:13.285 96.675 mph HPD ARX-01c from 2009: P1 -David Brabham Lap 1:11.627 98.912 mph Acura ARX-02a this year: P1 - (Primat)/Fernandez*1:13.213 96.770 mph Aston Martin |
