I know the rules of motorsport. And I know I don't have the cash but what ****s me is I get given a set objective to do and then I will get to drive it. What it normally is, changes whenever I get close. For example, if I turn up 15mins late one day, I get put back two months. If I do everything right and do virtually all the work myself except for actually fixing the hub in the gearbox, which I did do a bit of. then he says no for absolutely no reason. the guy saying no isn't the major investor in the car. He is the guy that used to do all the preparations on the vehicle. But because he owns a few panels and the dash on my car plus a number of other litle bits and pieces he has a fair say in what I can and can't do. My Dad is over in Europe at the moment, so I pulled the engine and gearbox out, changed over the engines and have it all set to be fired in and taken out to the track for a few test sessions, but because the other bloke has taken so long to put the formula Holden back together he won't let me and the engine builder take it out to the track. But as you say I have nothing that holds any sway. So I guess I will whinge to myself and my girlfriend a little more then put up with it. hehehe Thanks for your comments though.
