Hmmm. I'm sorry to say that I think that colour scheme is fairly naff in comparsion with the recent Pesco Playstation versions..... But then I've maintained for a long time that the R8 isn't a looker.......

And it's an old model too. The wing is definitely not to 2004 spec.

A potential outright French win at Le Mans next year! The atmosphere should be fantastic.

At least the 'nationalisation' of the Audi entrants spices it up a little. The artist's impression above does look a lot better than the previous Audi colour schemes, which all seemed to be variations on a Grey theme.

It's a bit dull isn't it? They should go for a french version of Team Gohs paintwork!

BTW, I say Champion should run their "Stars and Stripes" livery and we can settle this whole Iraq thing like gentlemen - on the track! |

Is the Audi a race winner in '05? Just a thought.
Ah, I can hear the replies... the faster cars won't be reliable, all the Audis will be there at the end, any others? |

And which ones are the "faster" cars?
The Zyteks? Even if they stay reliable they still have to be durable. The Audi R8s can lean on GT cars all day long. Then there's always fuel consumption, which is another nice plus at Le Mans. So that's two you didn't have down. Reliability plus durability and fuel consumption. On top of that, it will be quick enough. It's never had the outright speed, but over a lap it will still do nicely. |

This idea of livery looks like the "Equipe de France FFSA" livery of the Viper 2000.
But, I won't sing a Cocorico right now, let's wait for next month of june. |

The faster cars will be the Zyteks, Pecarolo, Courage, NASAMAX and Lister!
Pescarolo and NASAMAX, with their 5l Judd should have good power and reliaility so they will be a threat. Basically if any of the above have a clean run they will be on the Podium at least! The new reg cars showed over the course of the LMES season that they were improving signifcantly at each event. |
