alfaman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Excuse my ignorance....are the SELOC races purely for BMWs?

Is it another SEMSEC initiative or is it organised by another club?

And do they race at any other circuit other than Lydden?

No more questions....

Hi alfaman,

Yes, the SELOC BMW Challenge is for BMW E30's only (318 and 320 models).

It is organised by SELOC, The Lotus Enthusiasts Club and run by SEMSEC. We approached SEMSEC with the idea.

This year we have 8 rounds at Lydden, 1 at Croix and 1 at Brands. We are also an invitation class into the Kumho BMW Championship which offers lots of other circuits. Thanks to johnw for that!

More information at http://www.selocmotorsport.com

Yes and no!

We are racing at Lydden on Saturday 10th July and then hotfooting it to Croix that night. On Sunday we have our own race at Croix and can also enter the Kumho race on the same day. 3 races in a weekend!!!

Kinda explains why Jez is in such a rush to get his car rebuilt for July

Thanks for the info Liam.

I'll have to try to get to the Brands round to see the action!

Well guys, I'm happy to say the new car is up and running and I'll be back (hopefully not bothering the marshals) at Lydden on the 10th

Get that camera ready Baz

Wow - that was megaquick jezbraker! Great to see the new car looking sooooo good!

Don't take it personally, but hope NOT to see you at Lydden (after having helped you out of the car last time). OK - seriously - I'll say "hello" in the paddock.

Incidentally - you weren't (partly) responsible for the "SELOC" pile of empty bottles at Le Mans that I spied in Autosport were you?

Jez
I guess that you had better try squinting next time through Paddock then
Good luck next week, hope to see you and Baz in Croix.

I think actually that the picture was taken at Lydden at about 3pm just before the SELOC boys took to the circuit...it was probably all of Jez's doing...it all makes sence now!
