N I Tram should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Mansell was new to ovals though, and that represented a big part of the schedule in those days. Because Penske had the dominant car on road and street courses at the time, Nigel's wins mostly came on ovals in fact.

But montoya did not have any oval-experience as well, and there where like 40% ovals on the schedule in '99. He won at 3 ovals that year, and had 2nd and 4th place finish.

Anyway, i remain at the thought that any driver with a bunch of F1-experience (or IRL) should not be able to run for roty. But that's personally, and i understand that Mansell was a semi-rookie since he never driven a oval in his life.
