Minardi Auction - update.
The Minardi auction raised $1.5M, which Paul Stoddart says will go towards the teams 2005 budget.

I looked into going....got dates mixed up so i could only attend online. Was looking at new race suit but they went for more than i expected.
Maybe Paul S should hold a jumble sale. |

It probably would have done better if folks outside the UK had better access to the auction. Ebay would have been the ticket.

As it was an internet auction there were many bidders from overseas - funnily enough lots of the Verstappen tat went to Holland and I recall at least one guy bidding from Texas - you'll need a better excuse than that !

Me too - I was after race suits but they all went for at least £ 200 plus freight plus vat - for which I could get a new FIA 2000 one which is what I need !
