Jeremy Shaw drives me nutz during the qualifying. If he would only be a real commentator that would be better.
Nelson Philippe continues in the top 5. What happened? |

Race Director is pretty good for a year at that price, I get to see the practice 3 & 4 and qualifying here in the UK.
Cheap for a years viewing, as Eurosport don't cover that aspect of the Champcars. Good value for me anyway. Rockfan |

well Im already for the race today but sadly this isnt going to be a very good one for me.
my broadband connection is down and im using a dial up back up I have at the moment and its terribly slow. Im certain race director is not going to work very well this way. grrrrr they could have waited 4 or 5 hours from now before having a problem , then it wouldnt be a problem for me |

Marcus that is because RD is about 20 seconds behind the real live footage. So you find out before things happen...

It was the first time I watched Race Director and it worked very well. It's true that the leaderboard and the radio are well ahead of what you see on screen, but it's better that than nothing.
I can cope with Oriol being yelled to leave the pits while I see him just entering the pitlane... |

I was very disappointed in Race Director yesterday. It worked only briefly on our free account and not at all on the one we paid for.

Mine worked perfectly. I am delighted that they switch to the international feed during ad breaks (and in Canada, breaks for TSN to enlighten us about baseball, hockey and golf!) I hope we get to the time when we can have the press conferences and maybe a pre-race show too. But definitely the pressies. They are usually very funny.

Reviving an old thread, for no real reason whatsoever...
But I suddenly find myself without cable-TV, and I can only tune in two (fuzzy) stations. So now's the time to get RaceDirector. But I've got to wait three days, until the 25th. That way, a one-month sub will cover both Montreal and Vegas. And then I have to wait for a short bit, and resubscribe on October 7 to cover the remaining three races. I can't wait to see Denver! But in figuring this out, I was reminded of a couple of long gaps that we have facing us in the schedule. Four weeks between Montreal and Vegas, three more between then and S.Korea. And so enjoy Montreal! There's only gonna be one race in the following seven weeks! |

Good thing, too; I have two flyaway races in the ALMS! But I'm really looking forward to Montreal, although I have found out that the big party is Thursday night, so the out of towners can't attend. Drat.
