I'd not come accross that one before, although I don't spend much time sulking around parks with a big telephoto lens.

I've heard of some places which treat anyone with a tripod as 'pro'.

I have been "escorted" out of the park by security at Richmond a couple of times for using a 300mm lens to stalk deer.

Going ever so slightly off subject, allegedly at Sebring this year Media passes and tabbards are being sold to agencies who wish to sell images of the race and these guys are getting priority over bona fide reporters.
